Production Clerk

The Coca-Cola Company, which is headquartered in Atlanta, Georgia, is an American multinational beverage corporation, and manufacturer, retailer, and marketer of nonalcoholic beverage concentrates and syrups.
Key Purpose Statement

Support the production team as may be required by the production supervisors from time to time. Guarantee best quality production through practicing of correct manufacturing practices.

Key Duties & Responsibilities    

  • Bottle washing and preparation for 18.9 filling machine.
  • Cleaning of caps and availing them ready for production in a hygienic way
  • Preparing the sleeves, keeping them in hygienic condition for use after capping
  • Help in offloading filled product from line to the trolleys and transfer product to warehouse.
  • Assist team in sleeving, inspection and analysis of product in pack on Ave line.
  • Help in meeting production requirements of manually produced product through bottle washing, rinsing, filling, capping, sleeving, coding and cartoning.
  • Help team in reworking of semi-finished product, damaged product or specialized product.
  • Report any foreseen production mishaps to the supervisor in charge in time.
  • Any other production related duties as may be assigned from time to time

Skills, Experience & Education    
Qualifications
Minimum Requirement

  • Degree or Diploma in Supply Chain, Warehousing or relevant field.
  • Class G driving licence

Experience​​​​​​​
Work Experience

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in FMCG industry.
  • Data entry on SAP 
  • At least 2 year experience as a forklift operator.

Knowledge

  • All aspects of packaging operations and process controls
