Customer Care Assistant II

The Anti- Female Genital Mutilation Board is a state corporation under the Ministry of Gender, Culture, The Arts and Heritage responsible for implementing the prohibition of Female Mutilation Genital Mutilation Act, 2011. The Board invites applications from qualified persons for the following vacant position(s):

Customer Care Assistant II (AFGM 9)- Vacancy No. AFGM/16/2023 (1post)-Permanent and Pensionable

a. Duties and Responsibilities
 i. Guiding visitors to designated offices and areas;
ii. Issuing visitors passes;
iii. Manning the reception desk;
iv. Maintaining good ambience in the reception area;
v. Profiling visitors;
 vi. Receiving and directing telephone calls.
vii. Responding to visitors’ queries and telephone inquiries;
viii. Receiving, screening, guiding and directing clients and visitors
ix. Recording and confirming visitors’ appointments; and
x. Maintaining daily record of visitors’ details.

b. Requirements for Appointment
i. Diploma in any of the following disciplines: Customer Service, Public Relations, Hospitality Management, Communication Management, Event Management, Front Office or any other relevant qualification from a recognized institution; and
ii. Proficiency in computer applications.

c. Essential skills and Competencies
i. Oral and written communication skills.
ii. Interpersonal skills.
